Internal credit risk reporting specialist
The department Finance & Risk Business GRIDs deliver Finance and Risk services to its stakeholders i.e. Group Finance, Risk Management, Legal and Internal Audit. These services encompass operations and change activities for the departments Accounting and Reporting in Finance, Credit Risk, Central Risk Management, Financial Restructuring & Recovery, Risk Modelling, I&ORM, SIM and Compliance in Risk Management and Legal, Corporate Office and Internal Audit in the CEO domain. The Risk MI team in the Reporting GRID is responsible for preparing Credit Risk and Integrated Risk Reports used for internal steering purposes.
As member of the Risk Management Information (MI) domain you will work together with your colleagues on the implementation of credit risk reports and dashboards serving the entire organization with the purpose of becoming the ‘one-stop-shop’ for (credit) risk reports. We aim to provide compass for supporting credit risk steering. The activity of the team is to cover and support the entire report implementation process, starting with collecting requirements from our Business Customers, coordinating and supporting the process between the Reporting Team and Finance & Risk Data Department to obtain fit-for-purpose data for consumption, dashboard development in Power BI, support BCBS 239 compliance (KRI/CDE identification, data requirements setting, data lineage, validation, compliance, etc.) and regular production and maintenance of the dashboards prduced.
You will operate within the Finance and Risk Reporting GRID. This is a cluster of Agile teams called Value Delivery Blocks. You will become responsible for report implementation within the Risk MI domain.
The GRID consists of approx. 150 colleagues, who all share the passion for continuously improving the vast set of reports created by the bank. You will have plenty of opportunity to work with colleagues outside the Reporting GRID. We are highly dependent on other GRIDs to jointly create a streamlined supply chain of correct and complete data. We help you develop yourself both professionally and as a person. - A Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative related field
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience, knowledge of credit & financial products, metrics and indicators; understanding of the associated finance and risk processes, preferably within banking sector
- Proven track record in reporting (regulatory or internal, with focus on Credit Risk); experience with Control Frameworks and BCBS 239 principles applied for related processes is an advantage
- Command of Power BI or similar modern BI tools (PL-300 certification is a plus)
- Basic understanding of the back-end & front-end development processes associated with the internal data sourcing, ETL, modelling, visualization
- Experience with Azure Databricks, SQL/SAS, Python and/or R is a plus
- Experience with participating projects involving multiple stakeholders and/or delivery teams (e.g. business, data, development, monitoring, etc.)
- Ability to perform assignments both individually and in a team in a multicultural environment
- Adaptive, curious, and willing to challenge the status-quo in a healthy and constructive manner
- Excellent analytical skills & problem-solving ability of a proactive nature, strong attitude to identify better solutions and implement them efficiently
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills & proficiency in English, both oral and written
