We are hiring! For our tribe Daily Banking & Mobile Led, we are offering you the opportunity to join one of our multi-disciplined squads at our Customer Onboarding Value Space to help us shape the future of our (mobile) onboarding journeys!

About us

At Onboarding we are responsible for the digital and hassle- free onboarding of more than 250.000 new ING retail customers per year. With 3 multi-disciplined squads we welcome all retail customers and manage both mobile onboarding as well as onboarding via our assisted channels and provide onboarding capabilities to other domains such as Mortgages or Business Banking.

We continuously explore, release, and test new features to provide safe processes that delight our customers. We do this in constant dialogue with our colleagues at KYC, Digital & Customer Interactions, Fraud & Cybersecurity and Customer Data. A superior customer experience and conversion optimalization are key to move forward.

We therefor look for a product manager with a passion for customer journeys, affinity with IT and ability to create superior customer flows whilst also adhering to necessary risk and compliance controls. As a Customer Journey Expert /Product Manager you:

  • Take ownership of your team’s processes, including vision, ideation, development, launch, growth, and maintenance.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to gain a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and/ or employees and identify areas of improvement.
  • You understand the need to comply with regulations and policies but dare to debate options
  • You can balance optimal customer value and profitability for ING
  • You are fluent in English (verbally and written), Dutch is a must
  • You are proactive and like to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment to make ideas and improvements come to life
  • You give and ask constructive feedback and foster an environment in which you and your colleagues can excel

You have:

  • A Master or Bachelor degree
  • Relevant experience in a product management, business process/analyst, consultant role
  • A firm understanding of customer needs and skills to bridge IT and business
  • A curious mindset for the underlying application architecture, relevant IT landscape and technologies across different business units
  • Realization skills, able to take on a challenge and make it happen
  • Strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and fact
  • Solid interpersonal and collaborative skills to interact with different stakeholders
