
Compliance Data & Reporting Analyst
ING Group Compliance is looking for a Compliance Specialist with specific data capabilities within its Integrated Compliance Team, named STO.
As Compliance Specialist, you help ING realize several regulatory project goals. You assist with reaching next-level data-driven plans. You take the lead in coordinating interactions with internal stakeholders. Therefore, you should have a broader skill set with compliance, reporting, data/IT, and risk management experience.
The team
Our STO department supports the design and execution of the Compliance Vision 2022 and the underlying deliverables. More specifically, we have a strategy to transform the global function while operating under a mission statement of “Compliant by Desire and Design” (Project SOLAR). We merged with the delivery of SREP requirements across Compliance.
The STO team is working together based on knowledge and expertise, as well as the skill set needed to perform the job best; In a challenging environment that is currently going through a transformation; the team is working with senior internal stakeholders, global stakeholders, and external stakeholders; a highly ambitious team who embraces pro-activity and taking initiative.

Roles and responsibilities
As a Compliance Specialist:

You are a team player who can add to the team’s professionalism, quality, and maturity;

You will maintain oversight and planning on project milestones, prioritizing when necessary and maintaining spreadsheets and dashboards;

You will contribute to monthly (internal) and quarterly (external) reporting, creating dashboards and reports, assisting in taking project reporting to the next level of compliance risk reporting;

You will align and liaise with key internal stakeholders, relevant internal experts, and Element Owners;
-
You will work together with the team on the preparation, coordination, and execution of ongoing and ad-hoc meetings in cooperation with relevant global stakeholders, online and in person;

You are mature with data, macros (excel), and numbers, working with other departments to search out more data-driven solutions to reporting compliance risks next level;

You will track various finance and FTE data for the department as needed;

You will ensure timely smooth follow-up on action items.

You are a seasoned Compliance professional with relevant knowledge about the compliance position and risk management;

Skills required

University degree or equivalent;
-
Knowledge of financial services business, compliance processes, procedures, and systems;
-
5+ years of experience in a compliance, risk- and change management environment;

Technology and data-minded;
-
Learning agility and innovative mindset;

Ability to work across functional and geographic lines;
-
Fluent in English;
-
Organizational sensitivity;
-
Flexibility: adjusts approach, seeks different paths in a targeted manner;

Hands-on mentality.
