The Opportunity
Your role and work environment
Within Document & Content Services, we are looking for a Safe Business Officer who will contribute to business risk and control functions to ensure that ING's activities are in line with regulatory requirements and run smoothly in such a way that it can be demonstrated to the regulators and the outside world. Someone who contributes to the integrity of ING's products, services, employees and compliance with respect to the outside world.

Role and Responsibility
As a Safe Business Officer, you will become part of the Business Management Area of our Tribe, and you will work closely with colleagues who are experts on Finance (internal charging), Contract Management, SNOW and Management Reporting. You will be involved in all these topics and will take the lead in projects and assessments.
Furthermore, you will take charge in:
- Intragroup Sourcing (governance, risk, finance);
- 3rd Party sourcing (large contracts);
- IT risk in collaboration with the IT Risk SPOC;
- Record Retention;
- System of Collaboration
- All other Risk related such as mandatory training, proxy plan, risk awareness, business continuity etc.

That driven Non-Financial Risk enthusiast with a self-starter mentality who is excited to take Risk Management to the next level in our Tribe. Someone who can navigate between all levels and adjust their communication to their stakeholders and is not afraid to step up to the plate.
Proven track record and skills:
As a Safe Business Officer, you have:
- The personality and capabilities to work in an agile environment;
- Excellent organizational sensitivity and persuasiveness;
- Affinity with IT;
- Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Fluency in English;
- A completed bachelor or academic education.
