ING Bank NL is looking for a passionate and inspiring IT Team lead (within ING we use the title Chapter Lead), with a solid software development background and hands on mentality.

We are a team of highly dedicated engineers, working together as one, from within 5 different countries.

Our area, the Global Eingineering Platform, provides the onePipeline platform for ING, utilizing AzureDevops. We strive to create an easy experience for our internal consumers, to manage their code in a highly automated way. From Idea to Production. While minimizing their time spend on risk and compliancy evidencing.

We do this by managing and further developing our AzureDevops onePipeline infrastructure. One of the biggest AzureDevops environments in the world.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for your own chapter of about 10 engineers. Performing all HR related tasks, recruitment, assessment and coaching of your engineers.

Next to being the HR manager of these engineers, you are a skilled software developer, with a good understanding of the azure devops environment. That can help our squads with technical issues and decisions.

Skills and competences
  • Passion for IT.
  • Good understanding of Azure Devops
  • Skilled in at least one of the following languages: Java, C# .net, python
  • Good knowledge of vms, docker, Kubernetes, helm, openshift
  • Skilled in ci/cd practices.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Most of all, you love learning new things
