Your work environment
You work in ING’s Open Banking program, created to deliver ING’s Open Banking strategy. Open Banking evolves around Application Programming Interfaces (APIs): a way to easily open-up capabilities and share data. We believe it will help ING to accelerate innovation and collaboration with partners, customers and platforms to improve customer experiences and create new business models. Key to success is our developer portal at developer.ing.com which enables parties to connect and create value in an easy, secure and scalable way.
Your key responsibilities
- You are responsible for UX and visual design of ING’s developer portal at developer.ing.com and ING’s grant management at myaccount.ing.com , which is used by ING clients globally.
- You work together with Business and IT in multidisciplinary Agile squads to deliver relevant, easy, and personal customer experiences.
- You know that everything starts with a problem and that it’s your job to find the best solution.
- You draw the right conclusions from research and analytics to develop, optimize and redesign user journeys and interfaces in the interest of our customers and users.
- You skillfully apply design thinking methods, make use of our design system and brand guidelines, and convince with your high affinity for visual design.
- You create wireframes, screen designs and functional prototypes using common tools like Figma.
Your qualifications
- You are T-shaped with a speciality in interaction design but also experienced in visual design.
- You strive to bring fresh ideas to life and embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment.
- You are a naturally collaborative person with great communication skills who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals.
- You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.
- You have a passion for UX and the drive to understand the needs of our customers to ensure excellent customer experience at digital touchpoints.
- You are experienced with Figma or similar tools, in developing functional prototypes, as well as user research and design thinking methods.
- You have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 year work experience in UX / interaction design.
