For our new credit risk organisation, ING is looking for a Credit risk manager – Strategy & Portfolio management for the Portfolio, strategy and governance team . The Credit risk Portfolio, strategy and governance team is, amongst others, responsible for the determination of the credit risk strategy, setting credit risk appetite, coordinating (regulatory) programmes/projects related to credit risk and credit risk monitoring. Furthermore, the team is the owner of all the credit risk policies. The Credit risk Portfolio, strategy and governance team works from our headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. If you need to relocate to take this position in our team in Amsterdam, we offer a relocation package to support you with your relocation.
What you'll do
- Contribute to proposing, cascading, reviewing, maintaining and the communication of ING Group risk appetite and limits for credit risk and Credit Concentration Risk.
- Set the RAS reporting standards at consolidated level
- Consolidated and aggregated credit risk analysis and advice via Credit Risk Dashboard and Concentration Risk Dashboard
- This includes the report owner role for these dashboards (incl. BCBS239 compliancy)
- Monitor compliance with RAS
- Support external (risk paragraph in annual report) and regulatory (ICLAAP submission) reporting of credit risk
- Reporting, monitoring and improvement (also for wholesale banking credit and retail credit)
- Participate in country/segment portfolio review discussions and analyze the data points and trends and suggest actions
- Set the RAS reporting standards and monitor compliance with RAS at consolidated level
How to succeed
- >3 years knowledge of risk management and financial products specifically in Credit Risk.
- Fluent in English
- Academic level, preferably in Economics/Econometrics/Finance or a Quantitative specialisation
- Working with presentations, you have the ability to present complex content in an easy and transparent way
- You are able (or can quickly learn how) to retrieve information and data from our internal systems using a.o. Vortex and SAS for analysis purposes
