We have a vacancy for an entrepreneurial, independent Product Owner who will be responsible for ING Punten and the ING Puntenwinkel. ING Punten is ING’s loyalty program with approx. 6 million participant and almost 1 million active users. This program has been very successful in last years, due to a transformation into a strong proposition in our ING App. The aim of the role is to lead the teams and bring the program to the next level within the organization as well as growing our e-commerce platform.

You lead the implementation of the business plan, ensuring the right resources are in place to execute on the CX strategy across all your customer journeys. You take up new in opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. You hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments. With a good organizational sensitivity you are able to get things done. You are tech savvy and/know how adopt innovations. You do your work data-driven with the aim of offering our customers the value of ING Points every day. You are a true collaborator and switch effortlessly with different disciplines within the organization.

You will work in the Department/Tribe Daily Banking & Digital First. Here we work on the service proposition for our 8 million private customers in the Netherlands. In this Tribe we attract new customers and intensify the digital relationship with existing customers. We do this through solutions such as the ING App.

As a Customer Journey Expert you will be the Product Owner of the ING Punten squads and you will work closely with approximately 10-15 colleagues from different disciplines in that team. You are end-to-end responsible for your business and you are therefore in control in order to achieve the optimal result.

Knowledge and experience

  • You have a professional track record of at least 10 year in the field of loyalty and/or in (scale-up) e-commerce
  • Experience as product owner or leading teams
  • Experience in Value Proposition Development and Strategic Marketing
  • Experience with purchasing is a plus
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • High organizational sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships and manage networks
  • You have an academic work and thinking level
  • You are analytical and you work fact-based
  • You actively ask for help and feedback and you dare to give feedback to improve the impact of teams
