ING Business Banking is transitioning to a ‘Digital first’ service model for most of our business customers yet remains relentlessly focused on maintaining and enhancing the re lationship with have with our customers . An important direction of building a digital relationship is providing our customers with Easy, Smart and Personal (digital) products and services that reach beyond core banking products and truly help our Business Customer manage and grow their business.

With this goal in mind we are developing a global Digital Advisor solution - a suite consisting of a full financial/ business performance overview, financial management tools and personalized digital financial advice journeys to our business customers . Like other digital components, we aim to develop Digital Advisor as a globally scalable solution, that could be consumed by multiple Business Banking markets. This means developing core components centrally while relying on existing tech nical landscape and enabling integrations in each of the consuming markets.

As we are getting closer to finalizing the design stage of the Digital Advisor, w e are looking for a strong Central Product Owner who would manage the global delivery and local integration of the solution. The position will be a part of Global Business Banking team and report to the Head of Digital Transformation – Global Business Banking . It is a full-time position based on a permanent contract and located in Amsterdam.

Role & responsibilities

As Central Product Owner (CPO) for Digital Advisor, you are responsible for the global delivery and roll-out of the solution. You will work in collaboration with the core global team (V alue Proposition Expert , Customer Journey Lead, Tech lead etc.) , POs of the delivery squads and liaise with multiple stakeholders (business, analytics, tech) on global level and key markets (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Romania) to ensure prioritization of resources and timely delivery in line with scalable Value Proposition requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Solution vision and requirements:

  • Co-develop (together with Value Proposition Expert and other stakeholders ), own and commun icate the Digital Advisor solution vision

  • Liaising with business and tech stakeholders to develop , preserv e the integrity of and adherence to solution requirements (functional and non-functional)

  • Delivery model set-up and resource allocation:

  • Set-up a delivery model – identifying required roles and squads in relevant business units on global and market level

  • In relevant delivery tribes ensure required priority and investment allocation through yearly Dynamic Planning processes

  • Ensure required resources allocation and prioritization across relevant delivery tribes in their QBR processes

  • Change Portfolio roadmap and execution

  • Develop a Change Portfolio roadmap align ed with business and delivery stakeholders

  • Refin e EPICs into Features and has the responsibility to ensure that the Feature Solution Design is completed (in collab oration with the Feature Engineer s )

  • Own end-to-end execution of Change Portfolio roadmap ensuring timely delivery

  • Coordin ate PO activities managing and prioritizing backlog

  • Go-live and customer feedback:

  • Liaising with Lead CJE and relevant CJEs in the markets to ensure the readiness of appropriate go-to-market strategy, right scoping of MVPs & ‘go-live’ moments

  • Liaising with Business stakeholders in relevant markets ensure local readiness for successful ‘go-to-market’ activities

  • Ensure taking customer feedback into account when shaping solution vision and delivery priorities

  • Progress communication and escalation:

  • Progress tracking of Theme milestones, managing interdependencies/risks between countries, ‘V alue Proposition department’ and other programs on Epic level

  • Provide Epic & Feature Roadmap updates, with relevant stakeholders, including raising & managing Feature delivery impediments

  • Visualiz e the progress of the QBR Feature delivery on the Portfolio wall.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and competences:

  • Significant experience (>8 years) of managing the design, development and successful roll out of data & analytics b ased digital propositions/ products across multiple markets in the role of PO or CPO

  • Experience in managing capability development in data and analytics domain and good understanding of key elements across full value chain (from data ingestion, to enrichment, to modeling to integration with front-end components)

  • Strong program management experience gained while steering change and delivery execution in complex multi-geography stakeholder environments including the ability to:

  • Build case for change and facilitate decision making of senior stakeholders

  • Dissect vision into concrete building blocks for execution and roadmap

  • Gain senior stakeholder buy-in to secure priority and resources

  • Knowledge and experience in Agile way of working / methodology (Epics, roadmaps, backlogs, sprint planning)

  • Efficiently manage the delivery across multiple squads in multiple units and geographies

  • Clearly communicate progress, escalate and manage dependencies

  • Experience in managing the development of digital products in financial/ business performance management domain for business customers is a strong plus

  • So is the experience in financial services industry (banks, fintechs , accounting companies etc.) and understanding of Business Banking segment

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills

  • High level of confidentiality

  • High cultural sensitivity in order to work in a highly diverse environment

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
