
Product Area Lead Customer Due Diligence within the Global KYC Delivery Tribe

The team
Global KYC is a first line department providing the ING business and functions guidance with standardised solutions in the area of various KYC related regulations (on process, control, and digital solutions, etc.) as well as support to realize operational excellence.
The opportunity
The Global KYC Delivery Tribe is part of the Global KYC organisation within ING COO. You will be involved with the development of the Global KYC Digital Service contributing to socially relevant topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, Sanctions and their global implementation across 40+ countries, affecting 40 million+ ING customers. Through this, we will be able to deliver our customers an optimal KYC experience, whilst remaining compliant and in control of our risks and processes on a global scale. You will be in contact with market leading vendors and thought leaders in their respective domains. As such, you will be working with many colleagues from different disciplines, geographies, and backgrounds.
Job Profile
We are looking for a committed, ambitious, highly organized, and delivery-oriented Product Area Lead CDD in the Global KYC Delivery Tribe, delivering ING's compliance with KYC / AML rules and regulations.
Reporting to the Global KYC Delivery Tribe Lead, the PAL CDD position is a senior management position and high energy job which demands your A-game every day. Together with the Tribe Lead you will define a winning strategy for the CDD Area and your product in line with the Global KYC and Tribe’s objectives and in alignment with other stakeholders in the bank
The CDD Area within the Global KYC Delivery Tribe is responsible for KYC orchestrator which is the global CDD platform for all business lines, countries and segments.
Working out of Amsterdam you will steer the execution by your area consisting of 14 squads which are led by your product owners. You will proactively anticipate dependencies and collaboration across the entire organization and with the parties that need to contribute to a specific implementation of your business area. Last but not least you are part of the broader leadership team of the tribe, a close team of which members support each other and push each other to a higher level, which is exactly the spirit that we want to radiate each and every day to our tribe members.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategy definition at area level for the KYC Orchestrator product
- Driving impact with your squads across all ING countries and business lines
- Value based prioritization in a complicated stakeholder management field ( first line, second line, global, local)
- Making sure that the tribe is at par or above regarding Risk and Compliance
- Digital business process redesign and improvement
- Role modelling in the light of ING’s Orange Code and Customer Promise as member of the broader leadership team

- Completed WO or HBO education.
