Your work environment
As an analyst/associate at Structured Acquisition Finance MidCorporates (SAF MC), you will be assisting both substantively and commercially with complex acquisition financing facilities for private equity parties. As a member of the deal team, you will work carefully on the best deal, in line with the needs of this specific customer group. This means that we ensure the best possible credit structure, in which you have a connecting role: within ING with Risk and other finance departments, but also outside ING with private equity parties, entrepreneurs and other banks. The short-cycle nature of the transactions and the department’s sector-wide focus create a lot of dynamism and enable you to learn a lot about various customers and markets.
Your most important tasks
As an analyst/associate at Structured Acquisition Finance MidCorporates, you work in a self-managing team of around 20 specialists based at ING’s head office in Amsterdam. You are the point of contact for private equity parties and help this customer group with their acquisitions. We are customer-oriented and our goal is to always exceed our customers’ expectations. At SAF MC, you will have the opportunity to work in small deal teams of 2 to 3 people in an informal working environment, which will give you a lot of responsibility from the word go. Who you are
We are looking for: a driven, customer-oriented analyst/associate with strong social and analytical skills. You are creative and have an affinity with financial issues. In addition, you have the personality and commercial skills to liaise directly with customers and various parties at different levels and bring transactions to a successful conclusion. You work well in a team, have a strong sense of responsibility, and are enthusiastic and assertive.
Moreover:
- You have a university degree.
- You have 0-2 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry.
- You have an excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English.
