Experienced software developer for ING TechInfra

The opportunity
You’ll be working as a DevOps Engineer in one of the squads of the Cloud API Management area of ING/TechInfra.

Within ING, the purpose of Tech/Infra is delivering reliable and cost-competitive IT Infrastructure services that can be consumed via APIs, IaC and a GUI and that enable consumer squads to work in an Agile and DevOps way.

The team
The squads work as scrum teams, developing and maintaining the features of the the standardised virtualised stack, including the delivery processes.

• have at least 3 years of experience as an Engineer
• have experience with working in a complex and challenging IT environment
• know how to communicate at different levels, speak up, are transparent and aren't shy to confront someone
• are a team player, it is about the team, you trust others and are willing to coach others
• have an attitude of succeeding, try to deliver the best output, have a getting-things-done mentality, handle issues as they arise, take pride in building efficient solutions and code
• think innovative, enjoy to come up with solutions, have passion for IT, have a natural hunger for new technology
• are always trying to improve your skills, to continuously learn and get better at what you do to be able to deliver the highest quality for our customers
• are fluent in English (but some Dutch would also be nice)
• automate everything, version everything, test everything
• are fluent in at least one of Go , C#, Python, Typescript
• know your way in Linux and Windows and aren't afraid of Ansible or Powershell
• know your way with Azure DevOps and Git
• know a thing or two about: networks, containers, databases,Kafka, Kong gateway, OpenTelemetry , vRA/vRO
