At a glance

Detecting financial crime has become important over the last few years. That is why we are continuously investigating smarter ways to improve and integrate our applications to monitor our customers and stay within limits of current rules and regulations. To strengthen our grid we are searching for an experienced IT engineer who is able to oversee our entire IT landscape, functionally and technically, and steer our client acceptance teams into the direction of our target architecture.

Your job

The mission of Detecting Financial Crime is to make society safer by detecting criminal money. At Detecting Financial Crime, all activities related to detecting financial crime come together. That is why we want to know who our customers are. If we know our clients well, we know what their motivations and goals are and we are able to intervene if it turns out that ABN AMRO is being misused for money laundering, fraud or terrorist financing.

DFC uses a significant number of bespoke and package solutions to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. Our applications are continuously updated and expanded to automate manual activities where possible. Before our applications are adapted, information analysis and design are needed to clear business and IT requirements, to describe applications and Azure changes and give direction to construction and testing. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced person who wants to make a substantial contribution to this.

We organize ourselves in an agile / scrum way. We are a full-fledged DevOps team. A team that takes full responsibility for every step in the development and maintenance process of our IT systems; from requirements management to software maintenance. We strive to automate our processes as much as possible and to constantly look for opportunities to improve our systems and work, while we have fun. We love to share knowledge and challenge each other.

Your profile

You will become part of a highly motivated international team, consisting of a diversity of technical experts. We have three teams who are jointly responsible for the client acceptance applications and their integration.
