At a glance
Wanted: a flexible and hands-on team member who helps to further integrate sustainability into the DNA of our Corporate Bank, by implementing, coordinating and executing new reporting and risk related regulations. Sustainable Finance Regulations, strategic goals and society’s expectations require us to change our activities – the CB Sustainable Finance Regulations (SFR) project team plays an important role in making this change. Your job
You’ll support the CB with interpretation of the regulations and translation into reporting and business requirements. You’ll need to create an implementation plan, define new processes and execute some of the actions. Next year closing data gaps with structural solutions and ensuring we meet our reporting requirements will be one of the main activities. Over time, your focus will also include coordination of some sustainability risk tools/processes within the corporate bank.
You will be working with multiple stakeholders; regulatory experts, external reporting and data experts, risk managers, business, risk and accounting teams of the corporate banking entities.
SFR is a dynamic program and new regulations are underway. In the future, this could mean a shift in focus in your responsibilities towards more reporting or more risk related topics.
Working environment
You will be part of the CB Sustainability Expertise team and will work fully dedicated to the implementation and execution of SFR regulations. The department has a strong focus on facilitating the growth of the Sustainable Finance Portfolio, which includes Sustainability Risk Advisory, Sustainability Metrics Reporting, Policies and Strategy.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with strong demonstrable affinity with sustainability;
- Education: University Masters Degree (Economics - Finance - Law) or comparable level
- Experience: Minimum of 5 year experience in a banking environment, preferably in reporting related activities
- Risk and data management experience is a strong plus

- Knowledge: knowledge of sustainability reporting and risk, or motivated to develop in depth knowledge on this
- Skills: Proactive and hands-on. A good networker and team player. Analytical, problem solving and being able to transfer knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
We are offering
In this role you will learn a lot: in depth knowledge about several sustainability topics and the continuously changing landscape of sustainable finance regulations, about the Corporate Bank’s sustainability strategy and about working on change in a large organisation. Your working environment won’t be static: your activities might fluctuate and will often be novel, you will also be able to pioneer and help the bank progress. You will work alongside experienced and enthusiastic team members.
