Safe Business Officer

CoE Safe Business Central Team is the 1st line of defense gatekeeper of all non-financial risk management activities, acting as the business’ trusted partner on designing, implementing, maintaining and testing a safe and controlled business environment for ING customers, staff, assets and business partners.

The objective of the Central Team is to support the business with managing non-financial risks in an effective and efficient way.

We are now hiring a colleague to strengthen our small team of professionals.

As a member of the Central Team, you will

• support the first line as a business partner to embed the controls covering the non-financial risks (compliant by design)
• work closely together with Subject Matter Experts and 2nd line of defence
• support business to understand the position of non-financial risk through training and awareness programs on all non-financial risk areas
• be involved in various (global) initiatives related to non financial risk management

You should have the following skills:

• Analytical and able to translate complex issues into practical recommendations;
• Organizational sensitivity;
• Creative and able to look at things from different angles;
• Ambition to continuously anticipate and adapt to the changing environment;
• Self-motivated and self-starter;
• Good communication skills;
• Enjoys to contribute to the overall team ambition.
