Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank’s gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING’s clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additionalpresence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products. Within FM, the Client Solutions Group (CSG) consists of set of specialised derivative experts, one of these is the Commodity Derivatives Sales team, based in Amsterdam.
Your role
With CSG Commodities, you will be a full part of the team and have direct client contact for pitches and trades, and act as key contact point between relationship managers, clients, traders, research, local sales locations throughout EMEA and credit risk. You will be immediately active in the entire suite of commodity products that ING is active in in Energy and Metals, and deal with clients throughout the entire value chain.
Roles and Responsibilities
The job is a mix of different types of work, ranging from daily flow trading, to preparing presentations in powerpoint, running analyses, and being hands on with credit systems to control the client exposures :

Transact daily with clients in Energy and Metals

Help senior staff with preparation of client pitches and client analysis

Set up clients in systems, monitoring credit exposures

Engage with FM sales team in EMEA and even globally on their commodity needs

Be in constant contact with commodity trading on pricing and market trends

Be in the markets each day, i.e. understand whats going on in markets and be able to relay that to clients

A large plus would be taking ownership (in view to improve) of the pricing platform that already exists between trading and sales
