iOS Software Engineer
We are looking for aniOSEngineer, experienced in design and development of mobile native applications,to join the Wholesale Banking - Digital Channels Tribe. Our tribe is responsible for the delivery of the primary digital touchpoints for all wholesale customers of ING globally.
What you'll do
You will work in an agile team of engineers, UX, and product following scrum methodologies to delivermobile nativefeatures.Your main focus will be on the development of mobile banking featuresusing Swift. The app has to be quality controlled by fully automated regression tests and unit tests. You will also work on enhancing tools, creating standards, and promoting best practices forall the othermobile engineers to produce the highest quality software products.In your role youwillhavedirectinfluence on customer satisfaction at ING and therefore it is of the highest importance thatyou will putcustomer’sinterestsfirst.
The level of expertise and experience withinourmobilefamilyis very high and theworking environment is very positiveandpleasant. We don’t forget to have fun while crafting our apps. We have a high bar and want an experienced developer with proven track record to raisethe bareven further.
How to succeed
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or relevant field
- 4+ years of experience in nativeiOSapplication developmentwith Swift/ Objective-C
- Technical curiosity and attention to details, high-quality software development mindset
- Strong understanding of testing best practices and familiarity with at least one testing framework
- Experience with CI (continuous integration) and knowledge with industry-standard tools such as GIT,CocoaPods, Fastlane, Azure
- Knowledge of JSON, web-services, REST, securityprinciples
- Stays up to date with the latest and the greatesttechnologiesreleased by Apple
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Likes working in a challenging environment where innovation is given utmostimportance
- A team player who is open to sharing knowledge and learning from a great team ofengineers
- Experience withtheAgile methodology
- Prepared to take the Banker’s Oath just like any other ING employee
