ING Grootzakelijk Public & Healthcare werkt in een landelijk opererend team voor mooie klanten in de sectoren Cure, Care en Public. Allemaal klanten met een complexe productbehoefte. Als financieringsspecialist(e) ben je de commercieel en deskundig specialist binnen je Client Service Team op het gebied van zakelijke kredietverlening en adviseur voor grootzakelijke klanten met veelal complexe financieringsvraagstukken, waaronder ook financieringsstructuren in een clubdeal en met LMA-documentatie. Verbinding maken, afstemmen en klantbenadering met een commerciële inslag: zo zien we je graag.

De uitvalsbasis van deze functie is Amsterdam, echter momenteel is binnen de bank thuiswerken de norm. Ook in de toekomst zal je een deel van je werk vanuit huis blijven doen. Je klanten zitten verspreid over Nederland en het is belangrijk dat je (digitaal) zichtbaar en benaderbaar bent voor klanten en collega’s. Dat je je actief betrokken voelt bij klanten en dat je – als de situatie dat toelaat - regelmatig bij ze langsgaat.

In het Client Service Team werken ongeveer 10 collega’s uit verschillende disciplines met wie je samen de verantwoordelijkheid neemt om klantverwachtingen te overtreffen. Met jou erbij maakt dit team zich sterk om met een persoonlijke, eerlijke en open benadering in te spelen op de klantwensen en zo onze klanten optimaal te begeleiden.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Vakinhoudelijk en in analytisch opzicht ben je een echte autoriteit op het gebied van zakelijke kredietverlening. Je bent dan ook als geen ander in staat om complexe financieringsvraagstukken te vertalen naar het beste concrete advies voor klanten. Maar je beschikt ook over de persoonlijkheid en (commerciële) vaardigheden om op verschillende niveaus direct met klanten en prospects te schakelen, de behoefte van klanten goed in te schatten en daarop vanuit je expertise optimaal in te spelen.

Ook breng je voor de rol van financieringsspecialist(e) mee:

• een academisch diploma.
• minimaal 3 - 5 jaar ervaring met complexe financieringsvraagstukken en zakelijke kredieten. Bijvoorbeeld als financieringsspecialist.
• ervaring met het structureren van financiering en het schrijven van kredietvoorstellen.

Gewenst (pré):

Het is uiteraard handig als je ervaring hebt met de sectoren die binnen ING Grootzakelijk bediend worden en als je kennis hebt van (commerciële) ontwikkelingen binnen de Nederlandse bancaire markt. Echter, als jij in staat bent om je zaken snel eigen te maken, zorgen wij ervoor dat je tijdens het inwerken door je collega's wordt meegenomen in de actuele maatschappelijke en economische ontwikkelingen binnen de relevante sectoren en de structuur en organisatie ervan.

Your role and work environment

ING MidCorporate Public & Healthcare works in a nationwide team for first-rate customers in the Cure, Care and Public sectors. They are all customers with complex product needs. As a finance specialist, you are the commercial and expert specialist within your Client Service Team when it comes to business lending and you advise MidCorporate customers with mostly complex financing issues, including club deal financing structures and LMA documentation. The ideal candidate is someone who connects, coordinates and approaches customers from a commercial angle.

This position is based in Amsterdam, but working from home is currently standard practice at the bank. You will continue to do some of your work from home in the future. Your customers are spread across the Netherlands, and you will need to be easily visible and accessible (also online) to customers and colleagues. You are actively engaged with customers and – if the situation allows – you pay them regular visits.

The Client Service Team consists of around ten colleagues from various disciplines and, with them, you take responsibility for exceeding customer expectations. With you on board, this team responds to customer needs with a personal, honest and open approach to provide customers with optimum support.

Your responsibilities

You are a knowledgeable and analytical authority in the field of business lending. That positions you better than most to translate complex financing issues into the best practical advice for customers. But you also have the personality and commercial skills to interact directly with customers and prospects at various levels, properly assess their needs, and respond in the best way possible with your expertise.

You will also bring to the role of finance specialist:

• an academic degree
• at least 3-5 years’ experience with complex financing issues and business credit facilities. For example, as a finance specialist
• experience in structuring financing and writing credit proposals.

Nice to have (preferred):

It is an advantage if you have experience with the sectors served by ING MidCorporate and knowledge of commercial developments within the Dutch banking market. However, if you are able to pick things up quickly, we will ensure that during your onboarding period your colleagues introduce you to the current social and economic developments within the relevant sectors and their structure and organisation.
