Your role and work environment

The Circle In Life Management is one of the six Circles of the Super Circle Real Estate Finance. The goal of this Super Circle is to ensure client satisfaction and retention through flawless, consistent, predictable and first-time-right processing of real estate lending transactions, while remaining in control and keeping the Bank safe.

The focus of the Circle In Life Management is the in life management of all PRE clients of REF, Priba and Perba under EUR 3 million and all special clients from former KAP. There are three (sub-)circles, In Life Management, In Life Management Service and In Life Management Specials. You will be leading the Circle ILM Service, focussing on the Priba portfolio.

Your key responsibilities

As a Circle Lead:

  • You strengthen the ING One Agile Way of Working as a role model while safeguarding the Orange Code.
  • You maintain contacts with stakeholders and external parties.
  • You strive for open and transparent communication within your Circle. You stimulate the interaction between people within and outside their own Circle.
  • You make sure you deliver valuable, reliable, secure and in control services to real estate clients.
  • You are responsible for continuous improvement of (client) processes and administration within your domain. The strive is to limit internal hand-overs and to maximal automation.

As the Circle Lead In Life Management you are responsible for:

  • Portfolio management of real estate lending portfolios.
  • In control of all KPI's of the real estate lending portfolios.
  • Risk monitoring of the real estate lending portfolio and first contact for second line of defence of risk, operations and non financial risk.
  • Managing and coaching a real estate finance circle, not only on competencies but also on wellbeing, skills and quality of content.
  • Optimalizing financial results, processes and client and employee satisfaction.
  • Sharing RE knowledge and expertise within the BB regions and leading the teams to one BB organisation.

The Circle Lead In Life Management will get signatory approval rights.

Proven track record and technical skills:

  • Bachelor or Master degree.
  • 3-5 years proven track record at management level.
  • A personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment.
  • Experience/affinity with the services in scope of the Circle ILM Service.
  • Experience with agile, operational management and preferably with Lean Six Sigma.
