Your Job
As an iOS Developer you are part of one of our 4 scrum teams (Rikkie, Fikkie, Stikkie or Strijders). Every day, you take part in the daily scrum to discuss progress towards the sprint goal. The team works in sprints of 2 weeks and during the two weeks you will also take part in the scrum events (planning, retro & demo). You will work on user stories to build and improve our app step by step. You and your team work on cool features and ensure a smooth user experience. Apart from developing new features there is also time to explore new technologies or frameworks. Additionally, appropriate time and priority is given for optimization, refactoring and other efforts to improve the existing code base.
Once every 2 weeks you will also be part of the App Sync, a meeting with all mobile developers from Tikkie. During the App Sync you and the other mobile developers discuss how to move forward with the application and what you technically want to improve. Your ideas are valuable for the future state of our application. Besides, you will have access to a greater network of app developers who work at ABN AMRO Bank.

Tikkie Hiring Journey
The entire process from start to a job offer will take about 20 days. We would like you to know what you can expect:
- First step in the process is a CV Screening. Based on your resume and cover letter we will look to see if based on what we read we see a match.
- A match? Then we will schedule a first phone screening. A Teams call in which we will get to know each other a little bit better. For both of us it will be interesting to find out: Can you do this job? Do you fit our company culture? And what are your motivations?
- We will share feedback on the phone screening. Are we both positive to take our relationship to the next step? Then we will continue with a technical assessment.
- The technical assessment will take about 3-4 hours of your spare time. It is more on how you make choices and how you work then it is about scoring 10/10
- Next up: The interview. The first interview will be about your technical knowledge you get the chance to share what you created and why you created it this way. The interview is with our Chapter Lead Full Stack and a Technical Engineer of one of the teams.
- Feedback from both sides
- Happy? Then we continue with the second and final interview. You would have not got to this stage as we did not think you were a little bit awesome! The second interview is about meeting members of the team and an interview with the IT lead and Product Owner (don't worry they are cool people too). It is a final check on match with our culture, team dynamics and technology.
