ING is looking for an Advanced digital marketing & sales customer Journey Expert (Mobile & Web)

For the Tribe Digital and customer interaction, where we build the mobile and web channel of the best digital bank of the Netherlands, we are looking for a digital marketing & sales customer journey expert with strong affinity to IT (app and web related).

Digital Productshop

The squad where you will be working, develops and maintains the ING Productshop for both app and web. The squad with both front- and backend applications builds features for the Mobile Banking app and Mijn ING. Their purpose is to boost sales for all traditional core banking products. They support Product squads in the sales of the core banking products and they introduce new banking propositions together with 3rd parties (external companies mostly FinTechs).

What will you do?

  • As a full-fledged CJE you will work and add extra value in a high performing squad

  • You understand the purpose and the OKR’s of the Tribe and help to establish them

  • You help translate the vision into tangible results for our customers based on PACE methodology

  • You refine user stories for and with the IT developers, based on customer feedback, data analyses, CX optimization hypothesis and IT optimization initiatives

  • You make sure the customer’s voice is translated into the innovative and customer-focused improvements you and the developers create

  • You manage dependencies and cooperate closely with other squads and stakeholders, solving impediments

  • You make sure that deliverables are tested properly

  • You set up proper documentation that helps knowledge sharing and collective memory for other team leads and newbees in the team

How to succeed

  • For this specific role, we are looking for a CJE who is a digital (mobile/web/app) experience expert

  • You have digital sales & marketing experience as an online marketeer, customer journey expert or product/channel manager

  • You have a good affinity with IT and are well informed about the various digital products, services and ecosystems

  • You quickly master a subject and know how to get things done

  • You have experience in coordinating, guiding and implementing new digital customer functionalities including strong project management skills

  • You know lean start-up / design thinking (or in ING PACE methodology) or willing to learn

  • You are extremely customer experience driven and use data for your decision making

  • You have a great affinity with digital customer experience, preferably for mobile too

  • You have completed at least a bachelor’s degree and have at least 5years of work experience

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English

  • You dare to actively ask for help and feedback and to give feedback to others
