At a glance

The Falcon team is responsible for deploying and administrating the infra part of the FRAAI project on Azure. On this infra, suites will be used which will make sure that we report accurate and on time to our regulators.
Your colleagues and you will deploy, administrate and test the infra on which frequently high volumes of data will be processed and distributed. This will be done together with our colleagues at SAS and Wolters Kluwer.

Your focus in the team will be on perfecting the deployment of the infra and the suites on Azure; you will take the lead. You will also be the sparring partner of the PO and the team when it comes to subjects as Azure, agile and DevOps and make sure that all tasks of the team are picked up in an agile and DevOps manner.
Our Azure stack is one of the largest in the bank and will process petabytes of data when it has reached its target state. The challenge will be in processing these large volumes of data which must be reported accurately and on time to our regulators.
The Falcon team is on the verge of going into their DevOps leap so there will be opportunities and chances to broaden your role.

Your job

• You will be working for FRAAI project in the Falcon team. This team is responsible for deploying and maintaining the infra of the project FRAAI on Azure. On this infra suites are running which will create and deliver reports to our regulators on a regular and on time schedule.
• You and your collegues will be responsible for deploying, maintaining and testing of infra on which high volumes of data are processed and distributed. To achieve this, you will work closely together with the collegues of our suppliers SAS and Wolters Kluwer.
• Your focus in the team will be perfecting deploying and maintaining infrastructure in Azure. You will take the lead. You will also be the “to go to” person of the Product Owner and the team when it comes to Azure and DevOps and take care that the team will pick up work in a DevOps manner.
• Our Azure stack is one of the biggest of the bank and will process n target state state petabytes of data. The challenge will be to process large volumes of data which needs to be delivered at our regulators at the requested deadline.
• As the team is on the breach of starting their DevOps Leap there will be room and opportunities to grow and learn in your role.

Your profile

What do we expect from you:
• WO level
• Preferably certified in Azure (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-304/ AZ-305)
• Preferably ITIL4 Foundation
• Very good verbal and written communication skills, especially in the context of challenging Azure migrations
• Hands-on Azure expertise and experience with migrations to Azure
• Collaborative approach to work with different engineers who might have different level of knowledge
• Preferably strong experience with Azure data solutions, Big Data, data processing and MS SQL (IaaS)
• Preferably strong experience with CI/CD (Azure pipelines, Ansible)
• Preferably strong experience with setting up monitoring and dashboards
• Preferably strong experience with Azure security
• High problem solving , analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Proven expertise with running such projects wit teams that also have other business as usual priorities
• The ability to improve the IT chain
• Preferably Dutch, with excellent command of spoken and written Dutch, and English;
• Experience with DevOps, Agile and Scrum ways of working
