Do you know everything about the credit life cycle but do you want to upskill yourself with project management skills of are you already an allround project manager who wants to dive in the credit risk related topics, than join our new team within Financing Solutions (FS) where you will contribute in building and defining this so-called credit engine?

This team needs to take up the challenge to make the 1st line Future Proof by driving the Regulatory Change agenda and take on credit risk type ownership for Financial Solutions (FS). By doing this, we will facilitate the front office to focus on clients.

As Business Consultant you will get much freedom to take up different challenges and work closely together with the management of FS, the Lending colleagues and many other departments and stakeholders. You will be closely involved in high impact programmes, such as the Future Credit Domain workstreams like Credit Risk Monitoring, Colli programme and Bank Assisted Lending.

Your job

As a Business Consultant you advise and challenge the MT Financing Solutions with strategic and management decisions on Credit related topics. As the team has a variety of tasks your focus areas can change along the way depending on your skills, interests and experience. The team will be involved in a broad range of topics related to credit risk related Change, Regulations, Policies, Processes, Risk Type Ownership and more to come.

FS is part of Corporate Banking and is the Credit Engine of ABN AMRO, providing clients from all client segments with the best suited credit solution. FS provides clients with lending exposures EUR >1mln of a credit advice via both standardized as well as expertise driven solutions, and services the corporate lending product portfolio for all exposures from a Grid perspective.

Strategic Business Development is a new and growing team within FS. In this team you will work closely together with other Corporate Banking-teams, like Processes & Control, Central Portfolio Management and Business implementation, but also with departments in the 2nd and 3d Line of Control. In addition, the ECB is be an important stakeholder.

Your profile

You are interested in topics such as Lending, Regulations, Change and Credit Risk. You understand business- and financial risk dynamics across different departments within the bank and have a good understanding of the lending side of the bank. Also, you like to work in a high performance environment and are a cohesive team player.
Moreover we are looking for colleagues that meet the following profile:

• You understand the principle of the 3 lines of defence.
• You are an pro-active and entrepreneurial person and your stakeholder management- and communication skills are well developed.
• You like change and are frontrunner in implementing it.
• You have excellent project management, stakeholder and communication skills (writing and oral) as you play an important expertise role in projects and connecting to our stakeholders and will need to work jointly with all business units within ABN AMRO to achieve your goals.
