Though our mission is simple, our ambition is bold: become the #1 engine powering North-West European SMEs. To support our growth towards this ambition, we’re looking for a new Product Owner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer and Market Understanding – The Product owner must develop a view on entrepreneurial needs, lending solutions and digital services and be able to seek out, identify and respond to new business opportunities
  • Technical Understanding – The Product Owner has an understanding on the technical infrastructure, development process and potential of new technologies. Together with developers & engineers, the PO has a clear view on feasibility of items and technical debt.
  • Product Vision Development – the Product Owner is responsible for collecting information from various stakeholders and developing an overall solution vision. The Product Owner must be able to communicate that vision to stakeholders and the team
  • Strategy execution – The Product Owner owns one of the key results (OKR) of New10 and drives a team with Sales, Data Scientists, Design and Risk on the execution & monitoring of said theme. These exploration activities are fully aligned with the feature team backlog
  • Product Backlog Management - The Product Owner is responsible for decomposing the vision into several Stories, which make up the Product Backlog. Has final authority (and therefore accountability) in creating and ordering the product backlog
  • Team Leadership - The Product Owner is responsible for motivating an agile team (End 2 End) with a clear elevating goal, actively engaging them to ensure that they produce quality work, in line with the overall vision

Your job

We are looking for a Product Owner that understands the need of the customer and works together with Marketing, Data Scientists, Designers, Risk Mgmt. and Developers to design, develop and deploy new solutions. As Product Owner, collaborating with the people and resources in your team, you are responsible for successful management and delivery of our proposition. Hereby maximising the team’s contribution to company KPI’s.
