
Tibco/Java Dev Engineer in Order Manager

You are a Senior DEV engineer with a solid background in TIBCO products, primarily Tibco BW 5.x. and hand-on knowledge of Java technologies.

Your role and work environment
The Payments Order Manager is a cross-channel/cross-product manager of financial orders initiated through Domestic, Global Bank NL channels and internal systems.
With both Tibco and Java knowledge, you help the team to enhance the current TIBCO-based payment application while heavily contributing to build the new OMaaP platform by exposing APIs to the outside world. You work in a cross-border environment in an Agile/Scrum way and on the backlog prioritized by a "Technical" Product Owner.
The Order Manager is responsible for:
- Building internal and external APIs;
- Creating orders for execution and routing them to the payment engine;
- Warehousing orders until they are executed;
- Tracking the status during the entire life-cycle of an order;
- Reporting the status of an order through direct and assisted channels.
You will be working on a state-of-the-art new Order Manager platform (OMaaP) with two critical order manager applications.
You have:
- Minimum 8 + years of Tibco products experience (design, development, testing, and maintenance)
- Experience with Tibco BW 5x, Tibco EMS, SOAP, WSDL, XML, JSON
- Experience in Java 11
- Strong knowledge about HTTP, REST API’s, mTLS, and JSON is crucial
- Good understanding/interest in cloud-based technologies
- Knowledge of SQL Database like Oracle
- Good understanding of Relational vs NoSQL (Cassandra)
- Preferred additional knowledge on Payments domain;
- Experience and thorough understanding of E2E testing
- Experience and thorough understanding of continuous delivery, deployment tools, and pipelines are highly desirable (AzureDevOps, Git, Maven);
- Ability to balance operations and development activities and available for fixing issues and guiding your colleagues with incidents;
- A passion for operations to keep the IT Area’s systems compliant, reliable, and run smoothly;
- Strong interest and vision in recent trends in software development and technology in general.
- Great analytical skills and conceptual/architectural understanding, ability to learn new technical concepts fast;
- Ability to constantly balance the pressure of (IT Risk) targets of the teams you oversee and the quality of the software they deliver;
- Experience in Agile / Scrum / DevOps methodologies;
