Feature Engineer Touchpoint Platform

We are looking for a Feature Engineer with a drive to create global , scalable services within the ING Touchpoint Platform that enables ING to become a truly global bank.

Touchpoint Platform is part-of ING’s “Think Forward” strategy to become one truly global bank and is a key success factor on our path to become a financial services platform that extends beyond banking. Through our platform , we provide a scalable foundation for platform business models and position ING successfully in the new banking ecosystem.

This is what you will do

As a Feature Engineer , you will be responsible to develop, deliver and to innovate on services and features of ING’s Touchpoint P latform. These services are used to create instant, personal , frictionless and relevant interactions with in the web and mobile applications of ING, serving millions of ING customers around the world.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary squad of DEV and OPS engineers . You are the representative of this squad and you will maintain a close relationship with the Product Area Lead , peers, users, data specialists, and other stakeholders.

You will:

• Drive your squad as the s crum m aster by handling the agile ceremonies and teach the team towards mastery of agile techniques.

• Participate in workshops and proof of concepts to determine and refine the best approach to implement use cases on our real - time analytics platform, together with architects, relevant s quad members and users , using your in-depth IT/application knowledge.

• D esign the processes and detailing the specifications together with other members of the squad and stakeholders. Help getting the product backlog items ready and validate them accordingly once developed .

• Partner with the Product Area Lead and peers (representatives of other squads) to create and maintain a product backlog maximizing the business value or ROI .

• Productize the services by driving the delivery of product documentation, how-to guides and tools to ease the consumption of the services .

• Contribute to the design and implementation of the CI/CD pipeline , deployments and rollback scripts.

• A person that takes timely and informative decisions .

Furthermore, you have:

• 3 -5 year(s) experience working as a Product Owner in a tec hnology environment .

• Solid Agile experience .

• Ability to coach the team in the business domain .

• Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business c hanges required to address them .

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across te chnology and business teams .

• Experience supporting/rolling out software. Proactively validate with the users the added value and identify new opportunit ies, features and improvements .
