The opportunity
We are looking for a medior level HR Risk Transformation professional that will help us shape how we keep the bank safe and compliant from an HR perspective. The role will be the go to person with regards to owning the global HR Risk policies and budget process for HR worldwide. You are the person that we are looking for if you are reliable and have a strong focus on numbers and details, you are process-driven and get energy from owning and improving policies and policy-related processes and you thrive when working with multiple and often senior stakeholders.
Ideally you have a Master’s degree and 5+ years experience in consulting (e.g. in HR rewards) orin (HR) operations.
The team
The HR Risk Transformation professional will be part of the HR Way of Working team that advices the CHRO and global head of HR People strategy & analytics in two main domains; firstly how HR is organized globally in the most effective and efficient way, and secondly on the implementation and monitoring of all HR related policies and procedures. The latter is done in close collaboration with the Global HR Business Control Office. The HR Risk Transformation professional will be focusing on changing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring of all HR related policies and procedures within HR globally.
The HR Way of Working team is part of HR People strategy & analytics and as such part of the Global Human Resources team. Next to the above mentioned areas, the HR People strategy & analytics team focusses on implementing the People strategy in the bank, building the HR capabilities of the HR professionals globally and building and delivering advanced analytics solutions for the HR function.

Roles and responsibilities
The HR Risk Transformation professional will be the go to person for the global HR function with regards to everything related to the HR Risk policies implementation and monitoring, as well as overseeing and challenging the global HR budget. The role will be key in driving the HR Risk agenda, working closely with a team of colleagues in effectively strengthening HR risk practices and implementing the HR policies and procedures on a global level.
The HR Risk Transformation professional will be directly involved in the following areas (example):

Development of new global policies and procedures (including alignment with Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Data Protection Officers, etc)

Implementation of these new policies and procedures across 40+ countries (e.g. country implementation, gap analysis, waiver and deviation process, policy translation in to IT processes, etc)

Continuous monitoring, key control testing support, and reporting on HR policies and procedures across the Group

Responsible for developing HR capability building programme on Risk Management and implementing a Risk Culture in HR

Providing advice to other functions within HR regarding policy structuring and key control formulation and testing

Driving several pilots on new topics, such as employee screening practices

Ongoing assessment of outside-in view and best market practices to adopt
Next to that The HR Risk Transformation professional will also be contributing to the deliverables and/or taking ownership of workstreams in other parts of the team (e.g. budget monitoring).
The role will require a strong independency, clear delivery, make-it-happen mindset.

Affinity with (non-financial) Risk Management frameworks (incl the three lines of defense model, control implementation to mitigate risk, risk assessments)

Affinity with regulatory requirements and legal assessments
Additional competencies

Knowledge about HR processes and structure

Knowledge about regulatory/legal frameworks applicable to HR

Have a can-do mentality and always meet deadlines

Speak and write English fluently, Dutch is a plus

Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Previous experience in banking sector is a plus
