Product manager @ Onboarding & Acquisition

Looking for a product manager with a solid eye for details!

We are hiring! For our tribe Daily Banking & Digital First, we are offering you the opportunity to join one of our multi-disciplined squads at out Onboarding & Acquisition Value Space to help us shape the future of our (mobile) onboarding journey!

About us

At Onboarding & Acquisition we are responsible for the digital and hassle-free onboarding of new customers and provide them safe access to the heart of banking (being an account to move your money with). We work in 8 multi-disciplined squads focusing on mobile onboarding, digital identification, acquisition, product fulfilment and our assisted processes to service new retail customers.

We are continuously inventing, releasing, and testing new features. Conversion optimization is key to move forward. We therefor look for a product manager with a passion for IT and ability to create bullet proof customer flows that safeguard our systems and obey data protection legislation. The flaws we encounter need to be prioritized and solved creatively with IT. Do you have the execution power to turn a plan into action and have the stamina to optimize your processes via detailed steps? Please read on!

As a Customer Journey Expert you:

  • Take ownership of your team’s processes, including vision, ideation, development, launch, growth, and maintenance.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to gain a deep understanding of the needs & wants of our customers and/ or employees and identify areas of improvement.
  • Define, maintain, and align the product roadmap with business stakeholders from multiple areas within the bank such as digital retail, fraud & cyber security, KYC to name a few.
  • You understand the need to comply with regulations and policies but dare to debate options
  • You can balance optimal customer value and profitability for ING
  • You are fluent in English (verbally and written), Dutch is a plus
  • You are proactive and like to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment to make ideas and improvements come to life
  • You give and ask constructive feedback and foster an environment in which you and your colleagues can excel

You have:

  • a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a product management, business process/analyst, consultant role
  • A firm understanding of customer needs and skills to bridge IT and business
  • A curious mindset for the underlying application architecture, relevant IT landscape and technologies across different business units
  • Realization skills, able to take on a challenge and make it happen
  • Strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and fact
  • Solid interpersonal and collaborative skills to interact with different stakeholders
