ING Investment Office Market Leaders (Investment Office) develops and formulates ING's central investment view and manages ING’s discretionary investment strategies. The Investment Office develops investment views based on a combination of fundamental and sustainability analysis. Since 2008, it has firmly established itself as an expertise center in the market for (wealthy) individual investors. Investment Office Market Leaders is based in Amsterdam, Brussels and Luxembourg with a total of approximately fifty employees. More than half of them are located at ING's head office in Amsterdam Zuidoost which will also be your base. The Investment Office offers an informal, dynamic environment with plenty of room for creativity, initiative and personal development. Teamwork and open communication are key values.

What you’ll do

You provide our investment clients and advisors with clear and comprehensible information about the economy, financial markets and ING's investment products. You use your knowledge of investing and the financial markets to develop relevant content. You ensure that clients receive the right investment information, on the right time and via the right channels. And in such a way that they perceive ING as the best bank for investors. You translate investment research into comprehensible and concise articles, in close cooperation with the investment managers and analysts. And because the vast majority of ING's investment communication is published online, part of your job will be to publish your work in ING's content management systems.

In your area of expertise, you participate in working groups related to investment communication to clients and the relevant departments and channels within ING. You make a creative contribution to various publications and are (co-)responsible for the consistent communication style of the Investment Office, within the framework of ING's brand identity. You have plenty of room for personal initiative, which is also expected from you.

How to succeed

You are an experienced investment writer in the Dutch language with affinity for content marketing or an experienced copywriter with knowledge of investing and economics. Preferably you have knowledge of content management systems. You are analytically strong, closely follow developments in the financial markets and attach great importance to clients’ interests. You are a strong communicator who represents the Investment Office and ING both internally and externally as a trusted ambassador.

You have a bachelor degree or higher, several years of experience in (financial) writing in English and Dutch and a good knowledge of investments, economics and financial markets.

Het ING Investment Office (IIO) ontwikkelt en formuleert de centrale beleggingsvisie van ING en beheert de beleggingsstrategieën van ING Vermogensbeheer. Het IIO ontwikkelt beleggingsopinies vanuit een combinatie van fundamentele financiële visie en duurzaamheidsanalyses. Het IIO Market Leaders, met in totaal circa vijftig medewerkers, heeft vestigingen in Amsterdam, Brussel en Luxemburg. Een ruime helft daarvan werkt vanuit het hoofdkantoor van ING in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Dit kantoor wordt ook je standplaats. Het IIO heeft sinds 2008 een stevige positie als expertisecentrum binnen de markt voor (vermogende) particuliere beleggers. Werken bij het IIO betekent: werken in een dynamische omgeving met veel ruimte voor creativiteit, eigen initiatief en persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Het IIO is een afdeling waar waarde wordt gehecht aan open en eerlijke communicatie en die teamwerk hoog in het vaandel heeft.

Wat ga je doen?

Onze beleggende klanten van heldere, begrijpelijke informatie voorzien over de economie, de beurs en de beleggingsproducten van ING. Je helpt mee, ervoor te zorgen dat klanten en adviseurs van ING tijdig de juiste beleggingsinformatie via de juiste kanalen ontvangen. En dat klanten dusdanig relevante informatie ontvangen, dat zij ING zien als dé bank voor beleggers.

Je maakt gebruik van jouw expertise op het gebied van beleggen en de financiële markten door het ontwikkelen van relevante content. Je maakt een vertaalslag van beleggingsresearch naar begrijpelijke en goed leesbare teksten voor adviseurs en klantpublicaties. Hierbij werk je nauw samen met de investmentmanagers en beleggingsanalisten van het IIO. De beleggingscommunicatie van ING gebeurt voornamelijk online. Een deel van je werk is dan ook om de teksten die je produceert, in de contentmanagementsystemen van ING te zetten.

Je participeert vanuit jouw specialisme in werkgroepen over beleggingsinhoudelijke communicatie richting de klant en richting relevante afdelingen en kanalen binnen ING. Verder lever je een creatieve inbreng bij het tot stand komen van verschillende publicaties en ben je (mede)verantwoordelijk voor de consistente communicatiestijl van het Investment Office, binnen de kaders van de merkidentiteit van ING. Je krijgt veel ruimte voor eigen initiatief en dat laatste wordt ook van je verwacht.

Wat verwachten we van je?

De ideale kandidaat is een ervaren financieel redacteur met affiniteit voor contentmarketing dan wel een ervaren copywriter met kennis van beleggen en economie. Bij voorkeur heb je kennis van contentmanagementsystemen.

Je profiel in het kort: besluitvaardig, deskundig en accuraat, met gevoel voor klantcommunicatie

Jij bent een vlot schrijvende, deskundige communicatie-expert. Je bent analytisch, volgt de ontwikkelingen op de financiële markten op de voet en je hecht grote waarde aan het klantbelang. Ook ben je communicatief sterk en in staat het IIO en ING zowel intern als extern als betrouwbaar ambassadeur te vertegenwoordigen. Daarnaast heb je een afgeronde opleiding op minimaal hbo-niveau, enkele jaren ervaring met het schrijven van (financiële) teksten en een goede basiskennis van de onderwerpen beleggen, economie en financiële markten.
