Process Manager (CJE) Business Lending

The role and work environment

The role of process manager is called Customer Journey Expert (CJE) at ING. As a CJE you are responsible for the optimal customer journey of business lending customers. These particular processes are widely used, outside and inside ING, via our web, app and in our local branches.

At Business Lending you are part of a multidisciplinary team (BusDevOps squad). On a daily basis you work together with other CJE’s and engineers. Sales, Customer Loyalty and Credit Risk are part of your broad stakeholder field. You connect them, leading the way to results that make the life of our business customers easier and to their convenience.

At ING we work Agile and use Scrum. While Scrum brings structure, no day is alike. Working as a CJE brings a great diversity in tasks, for example: perform analysis, meeting with stakeholders, refinements, process design, testing, writing documentation, train users and answering user- and technical questions.

Business Lending is a cross border tribe, with over 20 squads in the Netherlands, Belgium and India. Besides working in a squad, you are part of a chapter. This group of people consists of CJE’s, being your sparring partners, learning together and have fun. We have regular (knowledge sharing) get togethers, drinks and even a padel competition. Our hybrid way of working enables us to work from home, still we make sure we meet each other in person in the office.

You are an enthusiastic person with a can-do attitude. You drive to make impact and see real results. You are curious, eager to learn and like to work in an international team. You love to be challenged, and challenge others. Next to that you are analytical and not scared of handling regulatory regulations. But most of all you are passionate to combine your knowledge and everything you learn, see and hear into the best possible customer centric solution every day again.

In addition:

• A Master degree;
• Background in finance, knowledge of business lending and credit risk is a plus;
• Strong communicator in English, and native in Dutch;
• Flexible, enthusiastic connector with a customer focus;
• Well organized and result driven. We will enjoy the ‘blue’ in your profile;
• Interested in data and affinity with IT.
