What you’ll do
As Business Consultant within Private Banking you will work within the team Sales Changes & Activation as part of the department Business Development & Customer Experience (BD&CX). The purpose of this team is make sure that our sales organization is in optimally equipped to serve our customers in the best possible way. One aspect is to deliver and improve important sales applications such as OPAL (Forward Planning) and Salesforce. It will be your primary responsibility to collect and prioritize requirements on which improvements will be made. You will also monitor complaints and incidents as input for improvements. And you will analyze the usage of these applications to determine how you can improve effectiveness and usage of these applications by the Relationship & Account Managers.

Being successful in this position means to be in continuous contact with the organization and your stakeholders. This requires strong communicative skills combined with sharp eye on agreements made, organizational sensitivity and quality. You will work closely with a variety of people (primarily spocs) in the sales organization as well as with the other teams in BD&CX (data, marketing, risk) and other delivery teams. Your results are team results. You work together according to agile principles but within your team you will have clear responsibilities.

Role and responsibilities

This junior position of Business Consultant is a great opportunity to discover the dynamic world of Private Banking. You will quickly build a significant network as you work with so many colleagues and stakeholders in the domain. You will be part of a diverse and professional team consisting of around 6 colleagues that goes by the saying “work hard, play hard”. The department BD&CX has a broad set of responsibilities within the Private Banking domain ranging from risk management to (strategic) marketing and consulting to data management. This will allow you to learn from other colleagues and teams within the department and understand the business of Private Banking.

• Good analytical skills. You are able to view problems and incidents in a broader perspective and connect the dots.
• The drive to continuously and proactively improve our processes and systems in order to serve our customers better.
• You work accurately.
• A proactive contribution to your personal development. You’re interested in your professional discipline and enjoy keeping yourself up to date.
• Having a LSS Greenbelt certification is an advantage
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
