
Audit Supervisor Risk and Finance
ING Internal Audit is looking for an Audit Supervisor for the Risk and Finance Netherlands team
The opportunity
Corporate Audit Services (CAS) is ING’s global internal audit department, which is a highly professional organisation with over 400 people in 20 countries across the globe. Working at CAS provides you with the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the ongoing improvement of the way ING is run and how risks are managed. You will be working in a highly international multi-cultural environment and have the opportunity to build an intimate understanding of the business.
Role & responsibilities
You will be part of our Risk & Finance Netherlands team which covers different risk and finance topics such as Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Personal Data Protection, Human Resources. As you will perform audits on a variety of topics throughout ING Netherlands you will gain an unique insight into the banks operations. You will participate in audits from the planning phase of the audit until the reporting phase, whereby you will interact with senior stakeholders within the bank. We are looking to increase the Credit Risk knowledge and experience in our team.
How to succeed?

You have a good understanding of internal audit practices and knowledge of Risk and Finance areas such as Credit Risk, Market Risk, Non Financial Risk and Personal Data Protection.

You have minimal 7 years of relevant work experience in audit and internal control within a major bank or financial institution.

You have strong verbal, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills that help you to ask the right questions and get the right information also when you have to overcome resistance first, and allows you to convey important information in a clear, concise and effective manner to individuals or groups.

You have several years of experience in performing audits specifically related to Credit Risk Management from start up phase to final report.

You are sceptical, accurate and describe yourself as a team player who is result and solution oriented and very capable of working in international teams.

You have and academic degree and are preferably in the possession of a certification in Internal Auditing or in Internal Control / Administrative Organisation.

You are fluent in English (fluency in other languages is much appreciated).

You are willing to travel 6-8 weeks per year.
