ING Internal Audit is looking for an Audit Supervisor for the Non-Financial Risk team

The opportunity

Corporate Audit Services (CAS) is ING’s global internal audit department, which is a highly professional organisation with over 400 people in 20 countries across the globe. You will be working in a highly international multi-cultural environment and have the opportunity to build an intimate understanding of the business.

Your role & responsibilities

You will be part of our NFR team which covers topics such as Operational Risk Management, Personal Data Protection and Group Human Resources. Our team is located in Amsterdam but support our colleagues across the world on these topics. As you will perform audits in many locations throughout ING you will gain an unique insight into the banks operations and will be able to compare activities between locations. With your expertise you will help our colleagues in locations to have the right focus and understanding in their audits. You will participate in audits from the planning phase of the audit until the reporting phase, whereby you will interact with senior stakeholders within the bank.

How to succeed
You have a good understanding of internal audit practices and knowledge of Non Financial Risk areas such as Operational Risk Management and Personal Data Protection.

• You have minimal 7 years of relevant work experience in Non-Financial Risk and/or audit and internal control within a major bank or financial institution.

• You have strong verbal, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills that help you to ask the right questions and get the right information also when you have to overcome resistance first, and allows you to convey important information in a clear, concise and effective manner to individuals or groups.

• You have several years of experience in performing audits from start up phase to final report.

• You are skeptical, accurate and describe yourself as a team player who is result and solution oriented and very capable of working in international teams.

• You have and academic degree and are preferably in the possession of a certification in Internal Auditing or in Internal Control / Administrative Organisation.

• You are fluent in English (fluency in other languages is much appreciated).

• You are willing to travel 6-8 weeks per year.
