We are looking for an energetic, active and driven Lending Operations Specialist. Apart from executing the day-to-day work, you can assist in all the change, delivery and migration tasks the team needs to perform. The day-to-day work of Lending Operations is subject to automation and centralization in the IBSS (ING Bank Shared Services) organization. In that sense, the day-to-day processing is a shrinking activity within our department. A gradual shift to more complex and varied tasks has already happened and is ongoing. We seek someone that fits both ends of the spectrum. On the one hand, understanding the day-to-day work and how that is being executed across the global Lending domain and on the other hand, being a part of a team that is initiating, driving and implementing change in both technology and processes. In the technology and with our knowledge and insights, we deliver agile stories to improve the technology outfit, increase and improve automated transactions and improve data quality checks. We act as Subject Matter Experts in creating the vision and framework that drives change with stakeholders throughout the organization. For processes, we work to continuously improve and streamline business processes and train the users. Next to technology and process change, we are executing various migration activities from various
branches onto the target platform, as well as managing further migrations from Amsterdam to the IBSS locations.

Roles and responsibilities
As the CLT Specialist – Deal Administration Officer

- You process complex workflows that are processed in Amsterdam in an accurate and timely fashion:
- This means receiving instructions, checking if they are processable, executing the process in the core system (Loan IQ), setting up the payments, validating your own work and handing-off that work to a second colleague
for validation.
- You will be able to not only process your own work but also to validate work of your co-workers.
- Our workload is unevenly spread over time and you are flexible in dealing with variety (peaks and troughs) in workload
- You are customer-centric and are always positive to solve any issues that are encountered within the value chain, wherever in the chain that problem has started
- You stand your ground towards stakeholders concerning what can be done and not and you are able to explain that in the Dutch and English language at a business
level
- You are a trusted advisor for our stakeholders to advise on the operational possibilities for complex transactions
- You work within the team but also with the local and global process leads on process improvements, technology changes and migrations as a Subject Matter Expert
- You actively contribute to the positive atmosphere in the team and workplace

Who are we looking for

- Self-motivated, orange-coded team player. Able to work solo on specific tasks when needed
- Experience with complex Lending products, within a complex WB Operational environment and with Loan IQ and international payments is very much preferred

- Positive attitude towards the agile way of working and Lean Operational management is necessary

- Client centricity is part of your DNA
- Ability to see issues, address them, voice them clearly and create improvement stories for them is a necessity

- Willingness to dive into complex topics and understand the details of it and be(coming) an Subject Matter Expert on that topic will be part of your growth path and you embrace that opportunity and are willing to invest time and effort in that
- The Lending Operations world is in constant change and you embrace that change as part of your day-to-day work

- You have a Bachelor level degree working/thinking capacity and at least two years of relevant work experience
