Hands on Personal Assistant NFR MT members

The opportunity

The Non-Financial Risk (NFR) team is looking for a hands-on, proactive and flexible assistant to support two management team NFR members responsible for Retail/Rest of World and Wholesale Banking. In this support role your purpose is to make the life and tasks of the department heads easier so they can be more effective, focus on their job and priorities.

The NFR function sets the risk strategy across the organisation to control the non-financial risks within the bank. NFR aims to embed the management of non-financial risks within all levels of the organisation and make them an integral part of each employees’ daily routine.

Roles and responsibilities

You will primarily support these 2 MT NFR members with responsibilities include:

• diary management using initiative and proactivity to resolve any conflicts and exercising judgment on priorities

• take responsibility for following up on meeting actions requiring completeness by relevant parties

• manage communications on behalf of the relevant MT NFR member and monitoring incoming emails, post and telephone calls to ensure that appropriate action is taken

• Proactive itinerary planning including provisions of suggestions on best/most cost-efficient options, key contact details and ensuring travel details are managed in diary

• Operate a range of administrative systems, for example Microsoft Teams environment, Workday, Beeline, Ibuy and E-profit in accordance with existing compliance rules. Collect, record, and archive all relevant documents in electronic files. Distribute information in an appropriate and timely way. Key controls activities such as Gift & Entertainment registry and others.

• Working together with the other assistants on shared goals for the whole NFR function and be able to replace each other during absence.

• You have relevant working experience as personal assistant and you enjoy working in an international environment

• You are enthusiastic, flexible, proactive and you are a real team player. That means that you will be able to be in touch with the teams and to be on top of what is going on in the teams also working in hybrid mode

• You are able to work independently and in collaboration with your teams within Wholesale Banking and Retail/Rest of the World but also within the pool of NFR assistants

• You set priorities and integrate tasks effectively. You think creatively about how to solve problems, address challenges and you have a high attention to detail. You are capable of dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information and you are able to connect the dots.

• You have strong written and verbal skills in English and preferably also Dutch
