
Feature Engineer Directory Services
Are you a seasoned and eager IT Feature Engineer? And can you steer these services in a complex technical and international environment? We are looking for ambitious colleagues that can direct our cutting-edge directory services to even better protection of the IT infrastructure for our worldwide employees. In scope are both on premise as well as cloud components such as Active Directory, Corporate Directory (LDAP), Identity Provisioning (Meta Directory), Azure AD, Azure Conditional Access, Azure MFA, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
Who are we?
We are the Global Identity & Access Management department, part of the ING CISO and steering the delivery of IAM services for 60,000 colleagues worldwide. We ensure that our colleagues can logon and access applications safely with any device, wherever they are: at home, in the office or in another country. Specifically, we focus on directory services such as Active Directory and Azure AD.
Who are we looking for?
Directory Services is delivered via several squads located the Netherlands and Poland. In this role you will be working with other directory specialists within the DevOps squad "Global Directory Services " within the global department Identity & Access Management at the CISO. You work according to the Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum).
- You are passionate about IT Directory Services and preferably have worked in the IAM services area before.
- You know how to connect and direct colleagues and (external or internal) suppliers and thrive by working in multidisciplinary teams. You know the directory market and products and are able and eager to continuously grow this knowledge.
- Your primary drive and mission in the squad is to provide an excellent user-experience to your ING colleagues through quick delivery of IAM services that are secure and easy to use.
- Your main tasks will be feature development and data quality assurance.
What are you going to do?
Together with the product owner within your squad, you are responsible for service design, drafting the roadmap and delivering a set of services that meet, or even surpass, the requirements of all stakeholders.
- You analyse new features on configurable settings, manageability, and opportunities for ING.
- You configure and test new private preview options in Test & capture test results.
- You work closely together with the other squads and build a partnership with them regarding our Directory services.
- You prepare proposals/designs for new features in Acceptance and Production including follow up on implementation by other squads and quality assurance.
- You help with troubleshooting during initial onboarding of new features and prepare knowledge articles for other support groups.
- You are responsible for marketing and communications towards ING colleagues and for propagating knowledge about your service(s).
- You make sure that new features possess an excellent user experience, are cost-effective and stay within budget.
- You aid in identifying, qualifying, and reducing the risks in your services and focus on improving our IT security controls.
Knowledge and experience
- You have advanced experience in the sourcing (cloud or internally) of services within a complex and international organization.
- You have knowledge in the field of Directory Services and an extensive functional and technical knowledge of authentication and authorization products such as Active Directory, IAM products like Azure AD, Azure MFA and ADFS.
- You have sufficient knowledge of IT risk to identify, qualify and reduce the various risks in the services to ensure that the organization can keep a firm grip on the risks and thus prevent or limit any impact to ING.
- You are preferably certified in Azure AD related certificates, for example SC-300 IAM Administrator Associate or similar
