As a Data Modelling Analyst it is about creating harmonized metadata structures to meet the data requirements of the business. New data structures have to be set up to meet the standards of the new AI models and reporting needs.

Your work environment

Real Estate Finance NL (REF NL) services their real estate investment customers directly in four regions, North West, North East, South West and South East. The regional offices are supported by REF NL’s operations team. Latter team is centrally organized in Amsterdam and is structured in squads. REF NL is considered to be the principal Dutch real estate lender, and our real estate knowledge is appreciated throughout the real estate investor market.

The team

You will be part of a small Chapter, working from Amsterdam. You will be working together with other squads in and outside of REF NL to create an unbeatable customer and employee experience.

Role and responsibilities:

• Together with stakeholders from the business, you determine the requirements regarding data quality, data availability, data privacy and other relevant aspects.

• Designing the structure and setting up the connection to the central data lake.

• You align with the business stakeholders in the full data value chain from source (System of Record) to the data users on the scope of the data that needs to be delivered.

• Make recommendations for improving data and analytics systems and platforms, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of the data and analytics strategy.

• In consultation with stakeholders, you devise ways to streamline and standardize data storage, to ensure its quality and correctness.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile:

• You are an abstract thinker with a bachelor degree or an equivalent work level (information science, applied mathematics or computer studies).

• Preferably 3 years of experience in data modeling.

• You are skilled in database administration.

• Knowledge of Cognos, SAP Business Objects or other Business Intelligence Tools

• You have the capabilities to explain complicated analysis to a non-technical audience with your storytelling and data visualization skills.

• You have excellent oral and written communication skills at technical and business level.

• You are fluent in English and clear communicator.

• You are a team player, but are able to deliver individually in close cooperation with other ING colleagues.

• You are easy to work with and a drive to implement and maintain the framework.
