We are one of the most famous apps in the Netherlands! Tikkie wants to simplify payment. Not only consumers use Tikkie, but more and more companies are also using Tikkie as a means of payment. Therefore we always work hard on new innovative solutions for the Tikkie App and our platform.

At Tikkie we work with Scrum and Agile. You work in a team with Product Owner, Scrum Master and IT Engineers. The teams carry responsibility and you have a lot of freedom to make your own choices. We like to be flexible to keep in touch with our target group.

Are you the one we are looking for?

From a technical perspective, experience with AWS (Cloudformation, ECS, Lambda, CDK) is highly desirable, because we work in AWS with a micro-services architecture. Furthermore is experience in Java, Spring, Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS and the Serverless Framework a pre. For Frontend work, we work with React on various web applications and on the payment pages of the Tikkie platform. Experience with this is a plus, but we are looking mainly for someone who can contribute in Backend development.

From personal and soft skills perspective we look for someone who is/has:

• Good command of the English language and feels at home in an international environment
• Familiar with the Dutch consumer market
• Able to work in a structured way and to schedule the day independently
• Strong and skilled in communication
• Knowledge but also have work experience with AWS
• Proactive and actively seeks out his or her colleagues to find the best solution
• Data-driven
• Knowledge of Android and/or iOS development in this context is also a big plus
• Dares to make mistakes but is realistic and learns from them
• Enjoy working in a team
