Within International Core Banking (ICB) grid we serve our international branches. You will be contributing to the Core and Wealth Platform that supports our International Business lines with a focus onPrivate Banking. Due to the international growth ambitions in Northwest Europe, ICB is a dynamic environment where you won't get bored easily.

Your job

As Chapter Lead, you will combine working as an IT Engineer, with your role as Lead. About 60% of the time you will work in your own block (scrum team) on refining, analysing, designing, developing/coding, testing, maintaining and realizing good quality and future proof IT solutions. The rest of the time you will manage your team. This includes:

  • Educating yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations.

  • Mentoring your Chapter members on technical craftsmanship.

  • Actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by joining triangles, circles, communities and events. Furthermore, focus onproper knowledgedisseminationacrosstheteams, pushing thelimits of ourtechnology and focussing onholistic solutions.

  • Properalignment with stakeholders. For example, informing leadership on the alignment you have with theSolution Engineer on thetechnological landscape and lifecycle.Furthermore you ensure a currentstack and room for innovation on the backlog by discussing this with the Product Owners.

  • Working in a DevOps environment and advocating the Agile and CICD processes.

  • On a strategical level you mentor your team, evaluate technical assessments, do interviews and ensure that new employees are properly onboarded.

  • Take care of the HR processes to facilitate all aspects relating to the influx, development, performance and outflux of employees.

  • Create and foster a healthy working environment and a holistic culture for your Chapter.

Within International Core Banking we mainly work with software package systems. Multiple development blocks are delivering functionality to that same system. It is therefore of utmost importance that the security of the system is well arranged, such that we can guarantee that we are protected. We are a so-called crown jewel, and therefore have the highest CIA rating. This means that also from security management perspective we always have to be on top of our game.

You are the go-to person for this task. You have deep understanding of Vulnerability Management, Lifecycle Management, Information Security Management, Identity & Access Management and know exactly what monitoring to implement that is required for the delivery teams in an agile/ DevOps environment. As it is a rapid changing environment, you are keen to keep up with the developments and determine how this can benefit our domain. Even better, you are at the forefront of setting these standards!

You have the expertise in the technical areas as well as the personal skills to grow the security community. Strong communication skills in English are a must.
