Digital Marketeer
ING is looking for a Digital Marketeer, Digital Sales Tooling (CJE, 36 hours, Dutch speaking)
ING is the most mobile bank in the Netherlands and we want to stay that way! That is why we recently set up a new department that focuses entirely on the use and further development of all digital interactions with our 8.1 million customers. In our tribe there is a place available for a data driven D igital marketeer in the Digital Sales Tools squad!
Who are we looking for?
An energetic D igital marketeer (within ING we call this a Customer Journey Expert) with a love for IT. You love to optimize digital customer experiences and you have a good nose for commerce. You have an analytical mind and affinity and experience with the IT landscape. You are decisive and enjoy developing tools and solutions that help the customer. Do you like achieving results and do you have a thinking & doing mentality? Then read on!
The team and your work environment
You will work in the Digital & Customer Interactions tribe. Our tribe strives to ensure that ING is always relevant to the customer by making data work for our customer. Our goal: to offer every customer and prospect the right content, product, and service at the right time. You will work in the team (squad) 'Digital Sales Tooling', a team that contributes to the realization of digital advice. Digital Sales Tooling ensures that the customer gains insight into his financial possibilities. We do this by developing different types of tooling, such as the maximum mortgage calculation, loan indicator or investment calculator. Tooling that helps the customer further in his journey, from orientation to advice. This tooling also plays an important role in generating leads for our tribe. With our hybrid tooling we want to (proactively) guide the customer online and via their mobile to the right place at the right time for advice about their personal financial situation. The starting point is the creation of frictionless journeys, such as 'pre-filling' all the information we already know about the customer. As a d igital marketeer you work agile in a squad with approximately 7 colleagues from different disciplines on a common purpose. With your squad you are end-to-end responsible for (part of) the customer journey. Watch this video for more information about our agile way of working.
What are you going to do?
Within the squad you will play an active role in the development of two new calculators: the loan indicator and the investment calculator. Through customer research, you will develop and optimize these tools step by step, together with UX and IT. The goal is to obtain more qualitative online leads by means of these tooling and experiments. In your role you have a lot of contact with the business squads in our own tribe and those of the product tribes. You take their wishes and ideas with you and try to translate them into backlog items for the squad. Furthermore, as a team you are responsible for the consistency in the tooling and the challenge is to take the personalization of our tooling to a higher level. In summary, you can think of activities such as:
- Alignment with stakeholders inside and outside the tribe, data-driven and with attention to opportunities and possible risks
- Collaborate with UX to arrive at new customer insights and top designs through research, such as qualitative research or performing user tests
- Realization and further development of lead generation tools in close collaboration with IT. The focus is currently on the development of new calculators for Loans and Investments
- Understanding customer processes, both front and back end
- Understand how to set up the right CX (Customer Experience) and how to measure it
- Ensure that our components are scalable and can be used at multiple places in the journey
- Coordinate and monitor schedules with IT and safeguard the risk processes
What can you?
You are commercial, enterprising and have a passion for the customer; you have a good knowledge of online journeys, and you work data-driven. You also find it a challenge to improve (customer) processes. In summary, we expect the following from you:
- You are native Dutch (because of the communication with the customer) and you have a good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing
- You have at least Bachelor’s degree
- You enjoy working together in a multidisciplinary IT team
- You have strong analytical skills, and you make decisions based on data and facts
- You are customer-oriented and can translate this into concrete customer solutions
- You have an affinity with IT. Experience in an (application) IT, product management or consultancy environment is an advantage
- You have a do-it-yourself mentality, and you like to quickly learn and apply new content and tools
- You are communicative and organizational strong
- You are curious and have the ambition to be yourself continuously and develop
- You actively ask for help and feedback and you dare to give feedback
