ING is looking for a Finance and Control intern for ReportING House Project

As a member of the ReportING House project team you will be working with us on our crucial ongoing mission to improve and complete the ReportING House. In ING’s financial architecture, ReportING House enables Finance & Risk to move from a report-driven to a data-driven operating mode. It creates a common language and shared understanding of the composition of key metrics that are used in the respective Finance & Risk reports, and provides essential insight into - and traceability through - the complex underlying data.

The ReportING House application can be described as following:

  • The main tool where all finance and risk related terms are described and defined. It is also considered as the single source of truth.
  • The application will eventually contain all statutory and regulatory reports, including an end-to-end description of the composition of the metrics, providing insight in the interdependency of the information for Finance and Risk departments.

As a highly structured and navigable tool, this will provide a common relational view to relevant staff worldwide. The system is already live with a base set of data which is being expanded.

Your work environment
You will work in a project setting with a dedicated team of full-time colleagues; with both individual and shared workstreams. The department Financial Control ensures that, at any time, correct and complete information is supplied in a controlled way, to Financial and Regulatory reporting to prepare their reports. The GIM (Group Information Management) team within Financial Control drives the change initiatives of Group Finance, and is as such responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of changes in our information architecture (organisation, processes, data and applications).
