Working environment:

Within the Global Marketing department, Marketing and Client Intelligence gather insights (internally and externally) and measure performance to drive marketing and client strategy. Unlock and connect data that lead to insights. Translate into actionable recommendations to influence the behaviour of our clients.

ING is looking for:

Talented BSc or MSc students interested in an internship in the field of Client Intelligence and Data Analytics. The ideal candidates pursues a challenge to translate data, through econometric techniques and skills, into actionable intelligence. Minimum duration ofthe internship is 6 months but exact timing and duration of the internship is to be discussed.

What is expected from you?

Develop a dynamic model that estimates the total banking costs for our corporate clients. You will collaborate with a strong team of data analysts and business colleagues in performing a literature study, ring-fencing the available data within the bank and to develop the rules for the model. Use your academic skills and insights to develop a tool that benefits our clients and improves ourselves personally and professionally. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Who are you?

You recognize yourself in the following personal profile:

  • MSc or final year BSc students, currently enrolled in University within a relevant field (e.g. Econometrics, business analytics, computer science, mathematics) with excellent academic results.
  • Result driven: combine real impact with excellent analytical skills.
  • Open and learning attitude: pro-actively look to further develop yourself.
  • Creative, innovative and strategic thinker with an eye for detail.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R, SAS) is an advantage.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in both Dutch and English.
