Internship Global HR Project support

ING is looking for:

An intern that will join the Global HR COO Project Management team from September onwards. The location will be Amsterdam and the duration is 5-6 months or other depending on availability.

Who are we?

A challenging international environment with a team of dedicated co-workers. You will be part of an environment that is in a maturing phase where all team members are expected to help shape and build a successful Global HR team to fully contribute to the Global HR and ING’s Think Forward strategy. The focus of the COO Office (Chief Operations Office) is managing the Global HR change agenda through projects and programs, contributing to the HR strategy through HR intelligence. In addition, contributing to an effective organization through data analysis and advice, management and coordination of several supportive HR processes and HR-IT.

You will closely work together with the HR Project Managers and report into the Sr Programme Manager of Global HR Projects.

What will you do?

Your assignment is supporting the Project Management team in their maturity process towards Agile ways of working. You will assist in the design and standardization of an Agile project management framework. This includes processes, structures, tools, templates and methodologies (i.e., PRINCE II, Scrum, Kanban). On portfolio level, you will assist in the development of an Obeya room (a concept from Lean manufacturing). This will help delivering the Global HR projects against higher speed, better quality and better outcomes (based on customer needs).

  • Partner with leaders, project managers, experts to understand current ways of working, organizational culture and needs
  • Provide guidance and advice about Agile portfolio and project management best practices
  • Determine the key success factors that make the difference in how we run projects
  • Support the project managers with insights and tools which can enhance their impact in leading projects and bringing change Document with guidelines, tools and templates

Who are you?

Currently studying towards your Master in: Business Administration / Human Resources

  • Project Management skills
  • Basic knowledge on Agile ways of working
  • Creative, challenger, brings structure, team player
  • Fluent in English
  • EU citizen or studying in the Netherlands
