Where does the role fit?
The CDO HR works in close cooperation with the COO HR, Global Data Management Office and other senior business and technology stakeholders to define the employee data implementation strategy and key performance metrics. The incumbent of the role directly reports to the COO HR and functionally to the Group CDMO (Chief Data Management Officer). The COO HR reports into the Global Head of HR as well as functionally to the Group COO.
What would you be responsible for?
The role of the HR CDO is critical to ensure that the Global Data Management Strategy is rolled out across HR globally in a way that both supports the HR objectives whilst also ensuring that the standardisation approach globally is aligned and adopted. The CDO HR will have to build a high performing team but without having the hierarchical responsibility towards the respective countries.
Designing and driving the employee data management strategy (governance, definitions, policies & processes, quality, organisational structure, architecture, privacy, security, sustained awareness, etc.);
 Creating and managing governance structures that create accountability and responsibility for data and management across the organisation in order to meet operational and regulatory needs.
 Delivering a single global data and analytics platform that organises, controls and delivers transparency over the companies data assets.
 Driving cross domain cultural change to treat data as a valued asset, supporting the Accelerate Think Forward Strategy to put data at the heart of the Next Generation Digital Banking Platform.
 Guiding and driving business requirements for data consumption, quality and transparency to enhance business results and reduce overhead costs associated with data as an asset, including a monetisation strategy for data across the bank.
 Enabling access in a controlled way to data in order to enable questions in the organisation, driving data use in order to grow revenue and customer interaction in dynamic ways, supporting technologies such as Artificial intelligence, Robotics, Chat bots, Process automation and more
 Interacting with key executive functions within their domain to drive Data Strategy adoption.
Who we are looking for? You have a strong background and proven track record in data management , preferably in an international context. You will need to have ambitious targets for your achievements and be able to share your positive energy with your business partners across HR and the Bank. You must have outstanding social skills and the capacity to communicate effectively in an international environment. Collaboration and facilitation skills are key in this role. You must be transparent and able to facilitate discussions and alternative solutions.
Experience and Knowledge
Required
 Proven experience of managing global teams within a matrix environment  Excellent understanding and experience in executing Data Quality, Data Warehouse, MDM, BI, Data governance and associated elements
 Data Privacy knowledge
 HR IT systems knowledge
 Data Architecture understanding, particularly of the elements that make up the data lifecycle.
Desired  Knowledge of Policy formation, Customer Analytics, Business intelligence, Projects & Program management

A strong business sense and ability to clearly define the solution needs in the context of the business environment is critical, and the successful candidate will have demonstrated this bigger picture perspective.
Collaboration and Influencing: The successful candidate will also have demonstrated his/her ability to build meaningful relationships in a large and complex enterprise across functions, levels and geographic borders. He/she must be skilled in communicating complex ideas in a simple and digestible way for a senior audience and must be open to ideas and contributions from others.
