Social Media Marketeer
For our Social Media Team we are looking for an experienced Social Media Marketeer. In this role you will oversee the paid and organic performances of our social media content across various earned, owned and reached channels. Based on the right audience and creative, you constantly work on maximizing the impact of our content on the brand ING as well as our commercial priorities. You will work in close cooperation with various business squads and media & creative agencies. Your will report to a wide range of internal stakeholders. Your work is based on a long term vision, in which ING becomes the best in class in Social Media Marketing.

Your responsibilities

You will be the hands-on expert to the rest of the social media team for creative specs, tracking and optimization across social media platforms and internal channels. Key is your ability to understand the needs of the business and translate these into successful social media campaigns and to grasp technical and data opportunities to help business forward.

  • Monitor day-to-day management of campaign set-up, pacing and optimization with media & creative agencies, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and various other social media vendors
  • Provide feedback to the business on social media marketing results and opportunities
  • Challenge the media agency on social media campaigns and assisting your direct social media colleagues in ROI based campaign optimization
  • Define and launch A/B experiments to assess the effectiveness of social media advertising spend
  • Advice on future tooling, help shape roadmap social media marketing
  • Work closely with different stakeholders to optimize campaigns towards defined KPIs
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and to prevent issues

  • Bachelor or Master degree in marketing or other relevant degree
  • 5 years professional experience as a Social Media focussed Marketeer
  • Extensive knowledge of the global social media landscape
  • Data driven attitude: true data curiosity and the ability to derive new insights
  • Strong multitasking, accuracy and prioritizing skills in fast paced environment
  • Excellent level in Dutch and English both spoken and written
  • Creative approach to problem solving; always looking for improvements
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing social media marketing campaigns and a successful track record to deliver ROI targets
  • Track Record in handling large accounts & campaigns on desktop, mobile and video
  • Understanding of technical implications of measurement methodologies for campaign trafficking and set-up

The Center of Expertise Communications
The Center of Expertise (CoE) Communications is a cross-border organisation with over 150 people. The purpose of the CoE isto maximize the engagement of all stakeholders to become a true love brand.The Center of Expertise is organised in four Areas:

  • Internal & External Communications
  • Branding, Advertising & Sponsoring
  • Media Relations & Stakeholder Management
  • Sustainability

The Area Brand Experience, Advertising & Sponsoring
The Area covers all branding, advertising & sponsoring activities and strategy in Belgium and the Netherlands. The Area is headed by an Area Lead that is end-to-end responsible for Branding, Advertising & Sponsoring in both countries and reports to the overall CoE-Lead.

Within the Social Media area, the Social Media Marketeer will report to the Expert Lead Social Media and will work closely with Campaigns, Media and Programmatic & CRM teams.
