SFRE Fund Manager

In view of the recent appointment of Triodos Investment Management (IM) as SFRE’s Portfolio Manager, we are looking for an entrepreneurial:

SFRE Fund Manager (32-40 hours a week)

The position is based in Zeist, The Netherlands. Applicants must be nationals of a European member state or have a valid work permit for the European Union.

Your responsibilities

• Be an entrepreneurial and catalytic force in driving the performance, sustainable growth and further development of SFRE
• Work closely with relevant equity and regional investment teams on sourcing, building and managing SFRE’s investment portfolio
• Represent Investment Management as portfolio manager towards SFRE’s Board and represent SFRE towards external stakeholders including the SFRE’s shareholders, international sector meetings, media and, as required, potential investors
• Coordinate and work with relevant IM staff departments as well as external service providers providing services to SFRE

The position requires

• Strong affinity with the GABV’s Principles of Sustainable Banking
• Extensive knowledge of sustainable banking, including a relevant network in this space
• Relevant financial transactional experience in banking, ideally covering debt and equity in emerging as well as emerged markets
• Standard-bearer of the SFRE fund and sound understanding of and preferably experience with fund management
• Commercial drive and team player
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and networking skills
• Fluent in English (and ideally Spanish) both orally and in writing
• Frequent international travel
