We are seeking dynamic individuals who possess a blend of skills and experiences. Your experience could span across diverse fields such as risk management, law and ethics, technology, or psychology—but a common thread is your passion for and preferably experience in Artificial Intelligence.

By joining the Global Chapter AI, you will bring your expertise to the table to grow and shape the future of AI within Rabobank. In this role, you will navigate through various workstreams, contributing to projects across the whole bank that resonate with Rabobank’s mission: becoming a data driven bank. Your energy is focused on enhancing processes and services that empower AI practitioners to excel. By staying at the forefront of emerging AI topics, you will play a key role in integrating these advancements into our Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. On top of that, you enable all departments to accelerate, scale and unlock the real value of analytics for their business.

As an AI Consultant, you are the person of innovation and the guardian of ethical AI. Your mastery of machine learning, particularly generative models like GANs, marks you as a trailblazer. With a touch in risk management, you safeguard our core operations, while your command of AI ethics and law ensures our systems are built on trust. Your technical power is the driving force behind advanced, human-centric AI solutions. As a system designer, you create resilient frameworks that secure our digital future.

Your work will be used as a catalyst that Rabobank’s AI use cases are ethical, compliant, and of the highest quality. Your ability to think critically, work collaboratively and take ownership will support the bank’s in its mission.

Your specialized skills will be strategically matched with our top priorities, such as:

  • Focus on improving processes and services to support AI practitioners in achieving excellence in their field.
  • Assist all departments in accelerating and scaling their analytics capabilities to unlock the full value of data for their business.
  • Create conditions to ensure that (Generative)AI can be used safely within the bank also according to Global regulations (e.g. AI Act)
  • Collecting requirements and coordinate the development of AI fundamentals e.g. reusable components.
  • Align with different Rabobank parties like Model Governance, Legal, IT, Architecture etc. on topics to be integrated in Rabobank’s Analytics Way of Working

The Chapter Global AI is one of the 3 sub-chapter within Chapter Data & Analytics, which is part of the Chief Data & Analytics Office. You will report to the AI Competence Manager. You and your talent

  • 3-5 years working experience preferably within data & analytics environment.
  • Ability to understand, create and implement financial strategies and models. Next to your technical understanding of AI.
  • Embodies a diverse set of skills and qualities e.g. strong project management, stakeholder management, strategize effectively, manage change efficiently.
  • Energy and enthusiasm for working in a creative and pioneering environment. Ability to negotiate and influence for introducing new or achieving common solutions
  • Social skills, team player, right balance between talking and listening, able to connect different kinds of people.
  • Fluent English proficiency and Dutch fluency is a plus


This is what we offer you

  • A 36-hour workweek with a gross monthly salary in scale 9 (€ 4.292,40 - € 6.130,64) depending on your experience.
  • An employee benefit budget of 10% (scale 9) of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • An OV-business card or fixed monthly travel allowance.
  • Hybrid working: we work 1 or 2 days a week from the office.
  • A personal development budget of €1400.
