You and your job

As a Business Analyst within the area Loan Products & Payments (part of Financing tribe) you work in a squad that works on applications for our wholesale customers with the aim to improve the overall customer experience. For this job we are specifically looking for a Business Analyst to support the Area in making the Credit Default Data project a success. This project focusses on improving the core data of Rabobank and the development, setup and implementation of an imbedded system and way of working as a foundation.

The Wholesale & Rural (W&R) domain within IT Systems supports the wholesale and rural bank across the globe. W&R is divided into 3 different tribes: Markets & Treasury, Financing and CBD (Clients, Bankers and Data services). Within the Financing tribe the Loan Products & Payment area will focus on product development and the delivery of large programmes like executing the Core Banking Transformation (CBT) programme and Credit Default Data. We will make it easy for our clients to do business with the bank and for our colleagues to service our clients by focussing on simplified operational processes, data value creation, automation of the risk controls and by driving (digital) innovations. The area is working closely together with strategic programs within other domains to realize the bank’s digital transformation.

This all will contribute to the W&R objectives to become a truly client centric bank by enhancing customer experience, reducing costs and operational risks, easing implementation of regulations, increasing efficiency and the ability to innovate.

You can be a key success factor in meeting the digital ambitions of Rabobank for Wholesale and Rural customers. As a Business Analyst you will make sure that solutions are tested thoroughly in the broader corporate banking landscape.

Top responsibilities

  • Being the primary contact for our stakeholders;
  • Identifying, modelling, and documenting the functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Representing customer and end-user interests by gathering input from stakeholders to understand the problem to be solved;
  • Bringing your own experience of corporate and syndicated lending, financial systems implementation and digitisation to support stakeholders and product owner in creating and refining the backlog and solutions
  • Challenging stakeholders on requirements to fit in the global way of working and industry standard for corporate lending;
  • Capturing and drafting priorities for requirements together with the product owner;
  • Combining one or more (technical) specialties with ability to translate strategic goals into innovative solutions;
  • Contributing in your team by doing other tasks from a T-shape perspective.

You and your talent

  • Has a high education degree in the field of Computer Sciences or Business Administration.
  • Has 5 years of experience in Business Analysis
  • Knows the ways of working and specific processes around facilities and lending solutions, collateral and covenant handling
  • Preferable to have knowledge of Oracle Flexcube
  • Has credit risk and/or credit default knowledge and understands risk parameters on at least a basic level
  • Has experience of implementing solutions for corporate and syndicated lending at a (similar) financial institutions
  • Is able to identify and implement process improvements, not only in terms of Agile working, but also in the entire delivery process, both on squad and area level
  • Understands drawings and repayments, other cash flow possibilities, collateral and guarantees in a wholesale banking environment
  • Agile development environments using Scrum
  • Has clear communication in English (written and verbal)
  • Has some basic knowledge of SQL, MS Azure

This is what we offer you

  • up to € 6130,- salary per month, 36 hour working week
