We seek an experienced Python engineer to join our agile team. Specifically, we desire a passionate problem-solver with an affinity for Risk and IT, capable of working independently on specific work items. Finding solutions to complex problems energizes you. Operating within the Microsoft Azure technology stack, you'll engage with large datasets. Introducing innovative ideas to enhance our workflow is part of your approach. Automation is a priority for you wherever possible. Establishing standards and ensuring adherence among developers is important to you. Engaging in discussions about challenges and collaborating with various team members to achieve goals is something you enjoy.

Customer focus and collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our ALM IT team brings talented people together to determine the way forward in the ALM domain. With you as a cloud engineer, the team will consist of 70 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including: business analysts, developers, solution architects, and operations engineers.

You and your talent

• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both English and Dutch is mandatory.
• Educational Background & Technical Leadership: Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, with the ability to lead technical discussions with product owners and ensure technical improvements are integrated into sprints.
• Python Expertise & Quality Practices: Advanced proficiency in Python and a focus on quality practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), with the ability to guide team members in its application.
• Continuous Integration and Delivery: Proficiency in improving Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes within the team.
• Technical Competencies & Development Squad Experience: Experience with interfacing with other components on technical and governance levels, including data ownership, validation, security, API management, and documentation. Additionally, adept at applying coding principles such as DRY, SOLID, inheritance, and clean code. Experience with code management and practices within development squads, ideally comprising more than three persons, utilizing tools like GIT and SPECFLOW.
• Azure Proficiency: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Azure products and development, including Azure DevOps and CI/CD. Familiarity with IAAS and PAAS environments.
• Model Development & Agile Methodologies: Affinity and preferably experience with model development and lifecycle management. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Agile Way of Working.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and excellent collaboration and planning abilities.

This is what we offer you

• a gross monthly salary between € 4.068,- and € 5.811,- (scale 9, 36 hours).
• 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
• an Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
• an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
• a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
• a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
• Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
